This bright and juicy washed lot formed of Ruiri 11 & Baitan, was grown at high altitudes by small farms throughout Kenya’s western Homa Bay County. Post harvest processing has then been carefully handled by the Kenyan company Lot 20 at their station Metibillion in nearby Kericho, their aim in working so close to their partner farms is to help keep value within the local, rural communities rather than perhaps concentrating cashflow towards larger stations in Nairobi.

This is Mutual’s first coffee sourced through the great team at Omwani Coffee, who began their work in Burundi but now specialise in sourcing coffees all throughout East Africa. The company is built around putting the people behind the coffee first and foremost, supporting producer-led initiatives in all their relationships and keeping values at the core of their business, something we're thrilled to get behind.
